Upgrade Your Immunity

Aging is a natural process for all living beings. Though physical changes which happen over a period of time can not be stopped or reversed but we can handle the complications arising due to these. These changes happen to everybody more or less similarly.

There are many changes that are going to be made in regards to these trans fats. They need to be replaced while maintaining the flavor that everyone loves so that the food companies do not lose business. Unfortunately, that has been proving to be a bit hard because of the long term effects of many of these alternatives (Remember Olestra?). The food makers are getting closer and closer to the answer, however.
 

 


Orange Vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, pumpkins): contain beta carotene which in turn helps the skin. The skin is our first line of defense against foreign substances & is also the body's largest organ.

Every several months I try to fast with fresh lemons, water, and peeled apples or pure apple juice. I usually eat four to six apples and drink eight glasses of water with lemon for three days. Then I start to combine the other foods, having fruit then vegetables. Several days later I slowly add the proteins and grains.

Do not forget to keep yourself hydrated. When the heaters kick on, your body is going to feel as though the moisture has been sucked right out of it, so make sure to replace it. Drink your full eight glasses of water and you will stay much healthier. Getting enough water will prevent your sinuses from drying here out and this can prevent irritation and even infection as the cold and flu season drags on.

 

 



If you have any knowledge or interest in health you know how controversial soy products are. Are they healthy for humans or are they not? Is soy a "health food" and safe for me to consume in my diet? The answer may surprise you. Plain and simple Fermented non-GMO soy is O.K and unfermented immunity with ayurveda should be avoided.

As a parent, you should also work on the toddler's bodily strength and resilience. Enroll your toddler in swimming classes. Apart from being an excellent sport, swimming gets the body stronger and more capable of withstanding colds.

We can see here from studying immunity on a cellular level that stress can leave you susceptible to the swine flu along with other viruses. You do not have to allow this to happen. You can be proactive in your own health by decreasing your stress level. This can be done effectively with stress management techniques, and of course boosting your immune system through healthy eating, vitamins, supplements, and exercise. Do not wait until you are sick to increase your immunity. Start taking the proper steps now, and reduce yours and your families' chance of contracting swine flu.
